Inaara Vishnani (b. 1999, Ohio) is a South Asian American visual artist and writer currently based in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BFA in Photography and Printmedia from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In her current work, Inaara researches the realities of inheriting trauma, healing and the effects of misogyny within family dynamics. She uses the language of memory, desire and photography in relation to one another to clarify identity by transforming and dis/placing the family archive.
