Inaara Vishnani (b. 1999, Ohio) is a multi-disciplinary artist and writer, currently based in Chicago, IL. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2022. Through photography, words, and print media, Inaara explores the realities of inheritance, healing, and the impact of various forms of pain and misogyny within familial relationships. She uses the language of memory, desire, and photography in relation to one another to elucidate identity by transforming and dis/placing the family archive. Her work has appeared in various shows including Filter Photo, Downtown500, and SITE Galleries in Chicago.
